Summary of how the battle transpired
Canadian soldiers were sent to fight the against Hong Kong soldiers by the British Crown Colony. During this battle the Hong Kong soldiers released acts on the Pearl Harbor, Northern Malaya, the Philippines, Guam, Wake Island and Hong Kong. After months of fighting neither side would surrender so the Hong Kong soldiers overran the Canadian soldiers.

This was the first battle that Canada took part in by themselves in WWII.
